After graduating with honors from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, Alisa began her career cooking alongside some of Boston’s leading chefs. Her greatest professional accomplishments include two restaurants of her own “Red Raven” in MA, which was named the ‘Best of Boston’ by Boston Magazine and was featured on the Dining Around show on the TV Food Network. Her second restaurant ‘Abbie Lane’ in New Port, Vermont, was featured in articles in The New York Times and Gourmet Magazines and was named Editor’s Choice for ‘Best of the Region’ by Yankee Magazine.

Owned and operated this 50 seat fine dining restaurant, along with my husband (front of the house manager).
Responsible for all aspects of the business including planning, licensing and opening, to menu development,
employee relations, budgeting and cooking. Received favorable reviews from Vermont Magazine, The New York
Times, Yankee Magazine and numerous local publications.
Since May of 2003, Alisa has been working as a Freelance Professional Chef. She has worked as a chef on over 10 yachts with a crew ranging from 4-9 members with about 6-10 guests traveling to a number of different places. Alisa has also had a lot of experience in the restaurant industry showing off her versatility and ability to work well with others.
