Andy seeks to obtain a position where he can combine his safety and water sports experience. He has experience being a paramedic, lifeguard, flight medic, Water Sports Professional. On top of this, Andy also has training operating an emergency vehicle safely. His background in knowing what people want and want to hear, he is best equipped to listen and act in a way best for the people around him. BCFR EVOV Certification.
BCFR Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations Level Certification.
BCFR Wildland Firefighter & Arduous Pack Test Certification.
BCFR Confined Space Awareness Certification.
BCFR AIDS/ HIV & Infectious Disease Class Certification.
Elected Class Leader for 12 week training Academy.
Assist nursing and physician staff in patient care and working medical codes.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring and hospital wide transfer.
Obtain and record patient’s vitals, SAMPLE and OPQRST information.
Obtain IV access, EKG’s, specimen cultures and blood draws for laboratory testing.
Clean and dress trauma wounds as well as set and administer splints when ordered.
