Performed as an active member of the code response team and carried out essential patient care duties such as EKG’s,
blood draws, accurately recording vital signs, wound care including irrigation and dressing changes, splinting and applying
orthopedic devices. Transported patients to and from procedures utilizing safe patient transportation protocols. Other
duties include supply room stocking and maintenance of equipment. In depth knowledge of EHR system EPIC and
internal programs. Also functioned as the Health Unit Coordinator for the department supporting physicians, physician
assistants, nurses and staff.

Provided a wide range of highly complex medical tasks as a member of the trauma team. Assisted in many procedures
that correlate with traumas such as chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and peripheral IV access, NG tube
insertion, monitoring vital signs, specimen collection, and preparing the patient for invasive procedures. Assisted in patient
care, as well as workups for cardiac alert and stroke alert patients. Performed and interpreted EKG’s, initiated IV access
and blood draws including blood glucose tests, lumbar punctures, and a multitude of other patient care duties. Utilized
EHR’s as well as Microsoft Excel extensively.
