Park Warden @ Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park
Feb 2018 — Current

Responsible for daily patrols of the marine park; including
monitoring, law enforcement, and guest interaction. Responsible for being a direct liaison for the Charter Yacht industry;
focusing on developing strong relationships and sustainable yachting
practices with Captains, Crews, and Brokers. Developed new programs and policies to increase yacht visitation &
use throughout the park. Headed an extensive program to inspect, build, and replace all 120+ mooring systems within the park. Played a major role in the revamp of Warderick Wells. Including the
installation, maintenance, and oversight of new generators, water
makers, and other machinery. Developed SOPs, maintenance schedules, etc for both the Warden
and Maintenance staff to ensure accountability and proper upkeep of
major equipment / park vessels.
Implemented SMART (spatial monitoring & reporting technology), AIS, and other monitoring technologies. Led enforcement training &
boat handling courses with Wardens from various other parks
throughout the Bahamas. Took part in various fundraising and event planning efforts to
maximize park outreach and generate donor support. Spent time working in the Park office; overseeing mooring
assignments, managing vessel locations, and taking part in
accounting & budgeting duties.

As First Officer: Leading navigation watches, passage planning, chart
corrections, monthly drills, inspections & equipment checks, maintenance of LSA, conforming to mini-ISM, manouvering the vessel, etc. As Bosun: Leading navigation watches, maintaining exterior of yacht, repairs, maintenance of all onboard toys, primary tender driver, etc. As Deckhand / 2nd Engineer: Engine room watchkeeping, exterior
maintenance, tender operation, etc. Present for the Antigua Charter Yacht Show 2015. Oversaw a refit of
our 32' Intrepid during the Fall 2016 yard period. Onboard for 2 yard
periods, including a 20yr ABS survey. Completed over 30 charters and 12 owner trips. Cruised The
Bahamas, VI's, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada, etc.
