Brett holds qualifications such as the PADI Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver certification and the MCA Y3 Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency. He has extensive experience in maintenance and engineering, as well as currently being the business owner-operator of his electrical business.
Experience
Currently Engineer on this privately owned Island. Maintaining all island infrastructure which includes 3
x 275Kw Caterpillar 3406C Generator sets, Large desalination plant equipment, Maintenance of all sea
craft incudes 2 x Intrepid twin 300cc Yamahas, 1 x Contender twin 200cc Yamahas and smaller tender
type craft, 6 x VX Yamaha WaveRunners. Maintenance of the 20 EZGO and Club Car Golf Carts, 2 x 4x4
Kawasaki Mule vehicles, Kubota tractor, Caterpillar Telehandler and numerous other machinery types.
All A.C. plant and Refrigeration maintenance, general maintenance required with the individual Owners
building, Guest buildings, Indoor Tennis court and staff quarters on the island.
Various electrical installation and maintenance projects including solar installation and maintenance;
contract marine engineering projects in Central America including works for Sea Shepherd vessels.
